It’s been a while, but we haven’t forgotten about keeping you posted on our spec home in Washougal, WA. How about an update?
The hard working team at Bennett Homes is now working on the framing of this nearly 2800 square foot single level home.
Much like how the foundation is the root of a new home, the framing acts like the bones. All of the floors, walls, trusses, and roof sheeting are completed during this stage of construction. Decks on the home are sometimes included here as well.
Once the house is framed, we’ll have a walk through with the home owner to see if any of the windows, walls, closets, or anything else needs to be moved or adjusted. In this case, we’re the home owner as this is being built in anticipation of a buyer, so we’ll handle our own walk through. We’re tough and demanding customers though. As it should be.
After the framing walk through, we’ll welcome in other contractors to work on the rough heating/cooling, plumbing, and electrical. More on that soon.
If you’re having trouble visualizing the the finished product, never fear, take a peek here.
